If you do not already have a Metamask wallet account, go ahead and create one [here](https://metamask.io/). Follow the instructions on the site for setup, download, and use. We recommend downloading and using the Metamask Chrome extension as well. (NOTE: Keep your seed phrase written down somewhere secure) ### Step 2: Connect to Matic(Polygon) Mainnet Once you have successfully set up your Metamask wallet, navigate to [polygonscan.com](https://polygonscan.com/). Once on the site, scroll to the bottom and click "Add Polygon Network." Complete the prompts that are presented on your Metamask wallet: {% embed url="" %} Add polygon network to your Metamask wallet {% endembed %} You should now be able to select the "Matic(Polygon) Mainnet" network in the dropdown menu at the top of your Metamask extention screen: {% embed url="" %} Switch to Polygon network on your Metamask wallet {% endembed %} ### Step 3: Purchase Funds with USDStep 3: Aquire Funds to Purchase AX If you already have funds in your Metamask, skip to Step 4. If you do not, **we recommend purchasing ETH or USDC** on [Coinbase](https://www.coinbase.com/signin?return_to=%2Fdashboard) and then sending it to your Metamask wallet. (Funds may take up to 30 minutes to transfer) If you do not know how to send cryptocurrency from Coinbase to your Metamask wallet, refer to [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NQgCyOXQlY) for the step-by-step process. ### Step 4: Transfer ETH or USDC to the Polygon Network Once you have successfully transferred your ETH or USDC to your Metamask wallet, you must transfer it to the **Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network**. If you already have ETH or USDC (or other ERC-20 cryptocurrencies) in your Metamask wallet on the Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network, you can skip to Step 4. If you do not, send your ETH or USDC from the Ethereum network to the Polygon network using this [Polygon bridge](https://wallet.polygon.technology/bridge): ![](/files/f5nAH8il9HiOlSBhaQbn) Enter the amount of ETH or USDC that you want to transfer and click "Transfer." Complete any Metamask prompts to complete the process. (Note: ETH funds will transfer into WETH on the Polygon network) Once you send your funds over the bridge, you will need to add the appropriate token address to your Metamask wallet on the Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network to access them. To do this, open your Metamask wallet and make sure you are on the Matic(Polygon) Network: ![Select Matic(Polygon) Mainnet at the top of your Metamask screen](/files/-MkOfnRqEQ1Du64z-nZ1) Next, click "Add Token" under the Assets tab: ![](/files/-MkOpKsEErSpl4LtkFnt) You will then be prompted with this page: ![](/files/-MkOxsugm-BDwW_2gGoI) On this page, paste the appropriate token address into the box that says "Token Contract Address" WETH token address (Polygon): **0x7ceb23fd6bc0add59e62ac25578270cff1b9f619** USDC token address (Polygon): **0x2791bca1f2de4661ed88a30c99a7a9449aa84174** Once you paste the appropriate token address and fill out the info on the page, click "Next" and then click "Add Tokens." You should now be able to see your WETH or USDC balance in your Metamask wallet on the Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network under the "Assets" tab (may take up to 30 mins). ### Step 4: Purchase AX on SushiSwap After you successfully send WETH or USDC to your Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network on Metamask, navigate to [this SushiSwap link](https://app.sushi.com/swap?inputCurrency=0x7ceb23fd6bc0add59e62ac25578270cff1b9f619\&outputCurrency=0x5617604ba0a30e0ff1d2163ab94e50d8b6d0b0df): When you arrive at the link, make sure to connect your Metamask wallet to the Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network if it isn't already: {% embed url="" %} Switch to Polygon network on SushiSwap {% endembed %} You will then be prompted to import the AX coin address into SushiSwap. Simply click "Import" to do this: {% embed url="" %} Import AX token address {% endembed %} In case you need to manually enter the AX token address, paste in: **0x5617604BA0a30E0ff1d2163aB94E50d8b6D0B0Df** Once AX is loaded in the bottom block, select WETH or USDC in the top block: {% embed url="" %} Select the cryptocurrency you wish to buy AX with {% endembed %} Next, enter the amount of WETH USDC that you want to purchase AX with and click "Swap." Review your transaction and click "Confirm Swap." {% embed url="" %} Enter the amount you want to buy and confirm {% endembed %} If the transaction fails, you may need to increase the slippage to 10% in the settings in the top right corner: ![Slippage menu](/files/gDjfPY7A0Ls5ZnzVTRVb) Once you confirm the swap, you may have to wait a moment for the transaction to complete. Then choose to add AX to your Metamask wallet. Confirm any Metamask prompts that pop up: {% embed url="" %} Confirm transaction and add AX to Metamask your Metamask wallet {% endembed %} Congrats! You have just purchased AX Coin. (Note: transactions may take up to 10 minutes to complete) ### Step 5: View Your AX in Metamask If you are unable to view your AX in your Metamask wallet, no worries. Simply follow the instructions below to access your AX.
