Method 1: Buy AX with USD

This process shows how to buy AX with USD. In this process, we recommend purchasing ETH (WETH) or USDC first, and then purchasing AX with these funds.

Step 1: Create Wallet

If you already have a Metamask wallet account, skip to Step 2.

If you do not already have a Metamask wallet account, go ahead and create one here. Follow the instructions on the site for setup, download, and use. We recommend downloading and using the Metamask Chrome extension as well.

(NOTE: Keep your seed phrase written down somewhere secure)

Step 2: Connect to Matic(Polygon) Mainnet

Once you have successfully set up your Metamask wallet, navigate to polygonscan.com.

Once on the site, scroll to the bottom and click "Add Polygon Network." Complete the prompts that are presented on your Metamask wallet:

You should now be able to select the "Matic(Polygon) Mainnet" network in the dropdown menu at the top of your Metamask extension screen:

Step 3: Purchase Funds with USD

Next, you will need to purchase cryptocurrency on the Polygon network to buy AX in Step 4. We recommend purchasing ETH (Polygon) or USDC (Polygon) (unfortunately you can not purchase AX directly with USD yet).

To do this, navigate to moonpay.com.

When you navigate to moonpay.com you will be prompted with this screen:

Make sure you select ETH or USDC on the Polygon network as shown in the image below:

If you do not see the options above, you may need to switch to the Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network on your Metamask wallet first.

Once you've selected ETH (Polygon) or USCD (Polygon), enter the amount you wish to purchase and click "Continue."

You will then be asked to enter your Metamask wallet address:

Once you paste your Metamask wallet address, click "Continue" (may take a few minutes to load up the next steps).

After this, simply follow the steps to complete the transaction (requires you to input personal and payment information. If you want to learn more about Moonpay's data privacy and security, read more about it on this page)

(Note: If your purchase ETH, it will transfer to WETH on the Polygon network)

After you purchase ETH (Polygon) or USDC (Polygon) through Moonpay, you will need to add the appropriate token address to your Metamask wallet on the Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network to access it.

To do this, open your Metamask wallet and make sure you are on the Matic(Polygon) Network:

Next, click "Add Token" under the Assets tab:

You will then be prompted with this page:

On this page, paste the appropriate token address in the box that says "Token Contract Address"

Once you paste the appropriate token address and fill out the info on the page, click "Next" and then click "Add Tokens."

You should now be able to see your WETH or USDC balance in your Metamask wallet on the Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network under the "Assets" tab (may take up to 30 mins).

Step 4: Purchase AX on SushiSwap

After you successfully purchase WETH or USDC Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network on Metamask, navigate to this SushiSwap link:

When you arrive at the link, make sure to connect your Metamask wallet to the Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network if it isn't already:

You will then be prompted to import the AX coin address into SushiSwap. Simply click "Import" to do this:

In case you need to manually enter the AX token address, paste in: 0x5617604BA0a30E0ff1d2163aB94E50d8b6D0B0Df

Once AX is loaded in the bottom block, select WETH or USDC in the top block:

Next, enter the amount of WETH or USDC that you want to purchase AX with and click "Swap." Review your transaction and click "Confirm Swap."

If the transaction fails, you may need to increase the slippage to 10% in the settings in the top right corner:

Once you confirm the swap, you may have to wait a moment for the transaction to complete. Then choose to add AX to your Metamask wallet. Confirm any Metamask prompts that may appear:

Congrats! You have just purchased AX Coin.

(Note: transactions may take up to 10 minutes to complete)

Step 5: View Your AX in Metamask

If you are unable to view your AX in your Metamask wallet, no worries. Simply follow the instructions below to access your AX.

In order to see your AX Coin Balance in your Metamask wallet, you must first make sure you are on the Matic(Polygon) Mainnet network:

Once you are on the network, click "Add Token" under the Assets tab:

Then paste this address in the "Token Contract Address" box at the top:

Once you do this, your page will look like this:

Click "Next."

Then click "Add Tokens."

You should now be able to see your AX Coin balance under the Assets tab.
